Kerry Wooldridge Will Transfer to San Jose State

Kerry Wooldridge, a 6-foot-8, 217-pound redshirt freshman forward from Minnesota, will transfer to San Jose State. Wooldridge, who is from San Leandro, Calif., played in seven games this past season and averaged 0.4 points and 1.1 rebounds in 4.6 minutes per game.

Kerry Wooldridge decided to transfer to a Division I school, rather than go to a junior college. He will have to sit out the 2005-06 season and will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Wooldridge will play for George Nessman, San Jose State University's new men's basketball head coach. San Jose State finished 6-23 last season and lost its last 11 games of the year.
