Gopher Signee Limar Wilson Continues to Shine

Limar Wilson, a 5-foot-11, 160-pound guard from Northeast (NE) CC who signed with Minnesota in the early signing period, is off to a strong start this season. He is averaging 19.4 points per game and the Hawks have five of their last six games to improve to 5-3. Wilson is considered one of the country's top JC playmakers and will give the Gophers some needed backcourt depth with the graduation of Vincent Grier, Adam Boone and Maurice Hargrow. The following is a look at his game by game scoring.

Limar Wilson has scored in double figures all eight games this season.

Wilson averaged 10.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game as the Hawks finished 18-13 last season. Wilson shot 57.3% from the field and 75.6% from the line and 45.4% (10 of 22) from three-point range. He had an impressive 91 assists to 35 turnovers ratio and had 24 steals and five blocked shots in 17 contests.
