Rosemount Soph Andrew Brommer Gets Interest

Andrew Brommer, a 6-foot-9, 210-pound sophomore from Rosemount (MN) High, could be the latest in the line of top-flight Minnesota big men. Brommer missed most of his freshman year due to injury, but had a strong AAU summer and has already attracted the attention of several Division I schools.

Andrew Brommer averaged 6.3 points per game last season, after missing the beginning of the year due to a broken left foot.

Brommer played on the Minnesota Magic Elite 15 and under team that played in Kingsport, Tenn.; Lawrence, Kan.; Fort Wayne, Ind.; and Dallas.

Brommer has good touch for a big man and has the ability to put the ball on the floor. He is a good passer and shotblocker who will likely become a better inside player as he continues to add strength.

Rosemount finished 11-15 last season. They open their season against Northfield Friday.
