Kansas JC DB Ray Cheatham Visits Minnesota

Ray Cheatham, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound defensive back from Independence (KS) CC, will visit Minnesota this weekend. Cheatham is a redshirt freshman from El Dorado, Arkansas and was recently named a Jayhawk Conference first-team defensive back.

Ray Cheatham helped lead the Pirates to a 3-6 mark this season. Cheatham won the John C. Pittman MVP Award as the Pirates' Most Valuable Player. He will graduate in May and have three years of college eligiblity.

Cheatham had 29 unassisted tackles and six assisted tackles this season. He intercepted three passes that he returned for 62 yards.

Cheatham is hearing from Kansas, Kansas State, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Oklahoma.
