Kyle Anderson Will Go JC Route

Kyle Anderson, a 6-foot-4, 295-pound offensive tackle/defensive tackle from Bloomington Jefferson, who received recruiting interest from minnesota, is headed to North Dakota State College of Science.

Kyle Anderson has attended several Gopher home games and has gotten interest from Minnesota as well as several other Midwest programs.

Anderson paced the Jaguars to an 8-3 mark this season, losing to Eden Prairie in the championship game of the Class AAAAA, Section 2 quarterfinals. They also lost to Eden Prairie in the season finale.

Anderson led Jefferson to an 8-2 mark as a junior losing to eventual state champion Minnetonka in the second round of the Class AAAAA, Section 2 quarterfinals.

Anderson attended the several Minnesota games this season along with Jefferson teammate Andy Brinkhaus, who signed with Minnesota. Anderson cuaght the Gopher games versus Colorado State, Florida Atlantic and Purdue.

Anderson told Golden Sports.Net during the season that he was hearing from schools such as Minnesota, Iowa State, Army, Michigan State, Wisconsin and Air Force.

Anderson has the ability to play both side of the line. Jefferson coaches think that Minnesota was in the driver's seat to land Anderson, if he had been academically eligible to play Division I football and that they will be the favorites in his recruitment in two years.
