Henry Sibley figures to be one of the most improved teams in the state next season as they will return standout quarterback Phil Haig. However, Tate told GoldenSports.Net that they will need to replace some key losses.

"We will miss a few lineman and are thin at wide receiver. We need some big guys to step up."

Tate said that he is hearing from a variety of schools.

"I've heard from North Dakota State, Minnesota, Ohio State, Michigan and Notre Dame."

Tate plans to attend camps at Minnesota and Ohio State this summer.

Tate said that he is still debating about running track this spring. He finished with a 24.07 200-yard dash and a 50.52 400-yard dash in the Class 2AAA True Team Championship.

Tate said that he is working with a personal trainer to prepare for his senior season and college.
