Vincent Grier's Team Losses P.I.T. Title Game

Vincent Grier scored nine points, but it was not enough as Portsmouth Sports Club had a balanced attack with seven of their eight players reaching double figures in their 104-88 win over Holiday Inn Portsmouth in the Portsmouth Invitational championship game. Grier made three of seven shots from the field and three of five from the line. He also added three rebounds, three assists, one steal and one blocked shot.

Daniel Kickert of St. Mary's paced the Portsmouth Sports Club with 19 points as he made seven of eight shots from the field. Curtis Withers of Charlotte added 17 points and Keydren Clark of St. Peter's and Solomon Jones from South Florida scored 16 points each.

Terrell Everett from Oklahoma, Christian Maraker of Pacific and Dwayne Mitchell of Louisiana-Lafayette each scored 10 points in the win.

Holiday Inn Portsmouth was led by Lamar Daniels of Lamar with 19 points. C.J. Watson of Tennessee had 17 points.
