Marcus Sikes, who played in 29 games for the University of Georgia as a freshman, averaged 13.1 points and 11.3 rebounds and earned All-Foothill Conference honors after transferring to Mount San Jacinto this season.
Mount San Jacinto coach Patrick Springer told GoldenSports.Net that Sikes is a 3/4 (more of a small forward than power forward) on offense and a 4/3 on defense. Springer felt that Sikes will likely make a decision soon among the three schools.
Minnesota head coach Dan Monson was in Houston Saturday for the Kingwood Classic, but returned Saturday morning to meet with Sikes.
