Josh Crittle to Visit Minnesota This Weekend

Josh Crittle, a 6-foot-8, 215-pound big man from Chicago (IL) Hales Franciscan, will visit Minnesota this weekend. Crittle recently played in front of Minnesota head coach Tubby Smith and assistant Vince Taylor at an open gym. Crittle shined as a member of the Mean Street AAU team this spring and summer.

Josh Crittle visited Kansas State September 15th, Southern Illinois September 22nd and Oregon last weekend. Mean Streets teammates Michael Dunigan and Matthew Humphrey committed to the Ducks in July. Humphrey is Crittle's high school teammate and both players were getting recruited by Minnesota before verballing to the Pac-10 school.

Crittle is a strong physical inside player who needs to continue to expand his outside game.

Hales Franciscan figures to be one of the top teams in the state next season. Their season ended with a 65-62 loss to Whitney Young in the playoffs.
