Josh Crittle is Down to Two Schools

Josh Crittle, a 6-foot-8, 215-pound big man from Chicago (IL) Hales Franciscan, is down to two schools, according to sources close to his recruitment. Crittle visited Minnesota October 5th and Oregon September 29th. Crittle shined as a member of the Mean Street AAU team this spring and summer.

He also visited Kansas State September 15th, Southern Illinois September 22nd and Oregon last weekend. Mean Streets teammates Michael Dunigan and Matthew Humphrey committed to the Ducks in July and former Mean Streets big man Joevan Catron is a sophomore at Oregon. Humphrey is Crittle's high school teammate and both players were getting recruited by Minnesota before verballing to the Pac-10 school.

Hales Franciscan figures to be one of the top teams in the state next season after finishing 16-10. Crittle averaged 12 points and seven rebounds per game as a junior. Their season ended with a 65-62 loss to Whitney Young in the playoffs.
