Spencer Reeves Has Committed to the Gophers

Four Dallas Skyline players visited Minnesota in September and now linebacker Spencer Reeves has committed to the Gophers, according to sources close to the program. Reeves has helped lead the Raiders to a 9-1 mark. They will face Tyler (TX) Lee (5-5) in the bi-district play Saturday at 1 o'clock.

Spencer Reeves has helped pace Skyline to the area's No. 1 defense, and they have allowed 773 rushing yards this year and have outscored their opponents 406-68. Only a fourth-quarter touchdown by Bryan Adams kept Skyline from entering the playoffs with five straight shutouts.

Their lone loss was 17-7 to Arlington Bowie in the third game of the season. The defense is led by Reeves and Alfred Dupree, who committed to Oklahoma State.

Reeves visited Kansas State and had planned to visit Texas Tech, but had to cancel, due to their playoff game this weekend.
