Ralph Sampson III Continues His Strong Play

Minnesota signee Ralph Sampson III continued his strong play as he had 21 points, 11 rebounds and eight blocked shots in their 59-53 loss to Dobyns-Bennett Saturday in the Arby's Classic in Bristol, Tenneseee. Sampson had 19 points, eight rebounds and seven blocked shots in their 42-29 win over Tennessee High Friday after missing thier 77-35 loss to Science Hill Thursday, due to bronchitis.

Ralph Sampson III has led the the Titans to a 9-3 start and is averaging 23.2 points, 10.2 rebounds and 5.8 blocked shots per game this season under head coach Steven Bombard.

His 2007-08 numbers are made even more impressive by the fact that he played only half the game against North Gwinett, due to a sprained ankle.
