Cody Larson Gets Gopher Interest

Cody Larson, a 6-foot-8 sophomore forward from Sioux Falls (SD) Roosevelt, is considered one of the top players in the Midwest in the Class of 2010. Larson attended the recent Minnesota-Wisconsin game. He is hearing from both schools, and the Badgers have former Roosevelt product Joel Krabbenhoft on their roster. GoldenSports.Net caught up with Larson to learn the latest on his recruitment.

Cody Larson told Hoopmasters that he is hearing from Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota State (who has offered him a scholarship), Nebraska, Arkansas and Arizona State.

Larson is averaging 10.0 points and 7.2 rebounds per game this season as the Roughriders are off to a 14-3 start.

Larson helped lead Sioux Falls (SD) Roosevelt to a 16-7 mark as a freshman, losing to Yankton 53-47 in the regionals.

Larson attended the Florida Elite camp last summer. The Gators have a tie to the South Dakota area as they signed Mike Miller several years ago.

Larson led the Dakota Schoolers to the quarterfinals in the Sabes Foundation Invitational Tournament.
