Nick Doehling Gets Minnesota Interest

Nick Doehling, a 6-foot-3, 278-pound offensive lineman from Hartland (WI) Arrowhead, attended the Minnesota spring game. Doehling helped lead his high school team to a state title and was named second-team 2007 Associated Press WIAA All-State Football Team. GoldenSports.Net recently caught up with Doehling to learn the latest on his recruitment.

Nick Doehling helped lead Arrowhead to a Wisconsin Division One State Championship title in a 31-7 win over Mequon Homestead. Doehling helped block for Minnesota preferred walk-on Jake Ferris as he rushed 31 times for 206 yards and two touchdowns.

Doehling has yet to receive a scholarship offer, but he attended Northern Illinois and Purdue for their junior days, and Wisconsin is meeting with him.

Doehling plans to attend summer camps at Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, Minnesota and Michigan State.
