Kadeem Coleby Attracts Minnesota Interest

Kadeem Coleby, a 6-foot-9 big man from Humble (TX) Christian Life Academy, helped lead the Grassroots Canada Elite to the adidas Super 64 title this past weekend in Las Vegas. Coleby has gotten recruiting interest from several top programs, including Minnesota. GoldenSports.Net caught up with Coleby's AAU coach Ro Russell to learn the latest on his recruitment.

Kadeem Coleby is a native from the Bahamas and has played for the Bahamian Junior National Team for two seasons and will be playing in the Bahamian National Championship next year.

Coleby plays high school basketball with AAU teammate Junior Cadougan, who recently committed to Marquette.

Coleby has attracted recruiting interest from Pittsburgh, Louisiana Tech, Memphis, Providence, Florida State and Minnesota, according to Russell. Minnesota landed Grassroots Canada Elite alum Devoe Joseph, who will be a freshman this season.

Coleby attended the Reebok U All-American Camp earlier this month.
