GoldenSports.Net caught up with Hassan to learn the latest on his recruitment.

Adan Hassan has helped pace the Trojans to a 4-0 start this season.

I know that you attended the Minnesota passing camp. What other camps did you attend?

"I went to Houston for their camp. I went to Ole Miss with teammates A.J. Troup and Matt Tarpley. Both schools I talked to their receivers coaches and they are interested, but I have to send them a highlight film, so they can see how I play, especially Houston. Last year, I was at a few camps."

Did Minnesota start showing interest in you after playing well at the passing camp?

"Yes. I was getting letters before my junior year because I attended the national underclassmen combine and the Nike combine in Atlanta, Ga. I was getting letters and notes, but it was nothing big. So when I attended the camp, that is when they started to notice me and like me."

What schools are you hearing from now?

"So, far, the U of M, Houston, Ole Miss, Delaware and Southern."

Do you have any offers yet.

"Not yet."

What position are schools looking at you as playing in college."

"The U of M wants me to play slot receiver or some DB."

Do you know much about the Gophers?

"Two of my brothers go to the University of Minnesota, so I am really interested in this school."

Have they talked to you about, if not getting a scholarship, possibly walking-on?

"They talked to me about that. They want to see, depending on a scholarship, to see how I do this year about my senior year, but they still want me to walk-on."

Minnesota has had a lot of guys walk-on who have earned scholarships like Ben Kuznia.

"Yes. Like (Marcus) Sherels. Depending on whether those other schools offer, depending on what happens, I'd like to."

You guys are off to a great start. What are your expectations for this year?

"I think that we have a pretty good chance to winning state. We have a really good team. We have a lot of good receivers such as Cecil Doe, A.J. Troup and Fritz Rock. We have a really good offense. Our quarterbacks are really good and our defense is small, but fast and strong."
