Minnesota Commit Has Big Day

Victor Keise, a 6-foot-2, 170-pound receiver from Coconut Creek (FL) North Broward Prep who committed to Minnesota, had five catches for 97 yards with one touchdown in a 56-21 win over Gateway Charter. Keise suffered a stress fracture in his foot this fall, but has made a full recovery. North Broward finished the regular season 10-0 and will face Miami (FL) Gulliver Prep Friday in the playoffs.

Victor Keise scored on a 6-yard pass in the win over Gateway Charter. They will face Frank Crawford and Artice Kellam, two players who visited Minnesota Sept. 19.

Keise had 37 catches for 598 yards as a junior and was named second-team 3A-2A-2B-1A-1B by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Keise also played on the North Broward basketball team. He made the Rock Holiday Classic all-tournament team, held at Ft. Lauderdale, last year, when the Eagles finished 15-10 last year.
