Lawrence Westbrook made five of twelve shots from the field, including two of four from three-point range as he finished with 13 points in a 76-51 win over Concordia-St. Paul in the season opener.
Westbrook scored a career-high 20 points to lead the Gophers to a 68-61 win over Bowling Green. He was six of 14 from the field, including one of four from three-point range. Westbrook made seven of eight from the line. He was the lone double-figure scorer for the Gophers.
Westbrook was the only double-figure scorer for the second straight game, as he had 15 points as he made 4 of 9 shots from the field, including 2 of 5 from three-point range. Westbrook made all five attempts from the line. He was named the NABC Classic MVP.
