Blake Hoffarber made six of ten shots from the field, including five of eight from three-point range as he finished with a game-high 20 points in a 72-71 win over Colorado State in their first road game of the season.
Hoffarber scored a career-high 21 points against the Rams last season. It was his first double-figure effort of the season, as he had entered the game making just seven of his first 21 shots from the field and four of 14 from beyond the arc.
Hoffarber is averaging 9.8 points per game this season as the Gophers are off to a 4-0 start.
