Minnesota Pump N Run Move to Jayhawk Finals

The Minnesota Pump N Run 16-and-under team advanced to the Jayhawk Invitational finals, where they will face the St. Louis Eagles, who defeated them 71-54 in pool play. Minnesota Pump N Run 16-and-under team, which won the Pump N Run Spring Showcase last weekend, is 6-1 this weekend.

Minnesota Pump N Run opened play Friday with a 59-45 win over K.C. Legacy. Jason Perkins, a 6-foot-4 guard from Shapokee, led the way with 20 points. Lakeville South's Alex Richter added nine points.

Minnesota Pump N Run defeated Hammond Huricanes 69- 31 as Aaron Ziman of St. Louis Park had 16 points, Jonah Travis of Minneapolis De La Salle had eleven points and Richter added ten points.

Minnesota Pump N Run bounced back in playoff action to defeat Howard Pulley Nlack 54-42 as Travis and Richter scored twelve points each.

Minnesota Pump N Run defeated Nebraska Bison 52-49 in overtime. Travis tied the game at the buzzer and finished with 13 points and six blocked shots.

Minnesota Pump N Run bested st. Louis Ramey in the quarterfinals 67-61 as Ritcher scored 23 points. Travis added 13 and Zmian chipped in with nine.

Minnesota Pump N Run moved to the finals with a 70-49 win over the K.C. Truth. Alex Kreuser of Totino-Grace made four three-pointers as he finished with 18 points. Travis added 14 points and Kyle Noreen of Minnesota Transitions had eleven.
