What schools are you hearing from right now?

"Right now, I have offers from North Dakota State and North Dakota. I was just at Iowa and what they told me is that they are not looking for anymore linebackers because they have some committed, but they told me that I would have a preferred walk-on spot if I decided to go there. Minnesota a little bit and Wisconsin. too."

What other camps are you going to try to make this summer?

"I was at Iowa's one-day camp and I was at Minnesota's one day out of the three. Hopefully, later in July, I'll be able to make it to NDSU and UND for a Senior Day. They each have a day back-to-back, so I can make both of them."

What are your expectations for the upcoming year? You had a great season last year as state champs. You lost a lot of good players, but you have some key player coming back.

"The thing with last year was that we would get up by a lot, so we were able to get all those guys that we knew would be back, we got them a lot of reps. While they are not returning starters, they have a lot of experience. So we don't really view it as we are losing a lot. We did lose some tremendous players. On defense, we have six guys coming back that played pretty much the entire time in the state playoffs. We have guys that got a lot of reps. Hopefully, we are going to be really good. The offense might be down a little. bit, but I still think that they will be able to score on anybody and move the ball and defensively, we will be very stout,"

Have you thought much about a major in college?

"Right now, I am thinking that I might do something in engineering. My dad is an engineer and my brother is currently at the "U" in the engineering program, so something along those lines."

Have you taken the SAT or ACT yet?

I took the ACT. I got a 30, so I am pretty sure that I am set."

What is your GPA?

"My GPA is right around 3.6 graded. 3.5 or 3.6."

Do you have a favorite school yet or is it still a little early?

"It is a little early. Minnesota is my hometown school. That would be really cool playing there.UND and NDSU. I have meet their coaches . At UND, the guy that is recruiting our area, went to Wayzata, so that is kind of cool, so I know him. NDSU, I have called their coaches a bunch and talked to them. They are a bunch of great guys. I can tell you right now, that wherever I go , I am going to be happy there and have a good time, so I am really pleased."

What are you hearing from the Gophers?

"They say that they are interested, so when I am hearing playing 7-on-7 in the camp, I am just trying to perform my best."
