Errol Carlstrom Playaz was without incoming Minnesota Gopher forward Trevor Mbakwe and sophomore guard Devoe Joseph. Isaac Rosefelt and John Vaudreuil scored 20 points each in the win. Former Gopher Mitch Ohnstad and Eric Webb, who played at Furman, had 15 points each. Josh Figini, who is headed to Cornell, added 13 points.
Howard Pulley used a mismatch of players with their young players playing in the NY2LA event in Milwaukee. Greg Chaisson, who played at Wisconsin-Stout, led the team with 23 points. Jesse Burton had 17 points and Carrington Tankson added eleven points. Tim Williams had ten points in the loss.
