Errol Carlstrom Playaz Moves to Title Game

The Errol Carlstrom Playaz won their four straight playoff game, including three contests this week to advance to the championship game with a 125-97 win over B-2-X. They will face the El-Amin Fish House Thursday night and if they win, will force another game Friday night.

The game was close during the first quarter as Errol Carlstrom Playaz led 23-22. However, Blake Hoffarber suffered a high ankle sprain and was forced to sit out the rest of the game, hurting B-2-X's depth as they had only eight players.

Errol Carlstrom Playaz scored seven of the last inne points in the fist quarter as they led 31-24. They expanded the lead with excellent outside shooting by Isaac Rosefelt, who scored 20 first half points and Devoe Joseph, who sank three three-pointer en route to 18 points at halftime as they led 66-41.

The game was basically over at the break as B-2-X could never cut into the margin and trailed 98-71 after three quarters.

Joseph led all scorers with 36 points and Rosefelt added 29. Xavier reed had 14 points and incoming freshman Josh Figini and Mike Muscala had twelve points each. Eric Webb scored eleven.

Rodney Williams paced B-2-X with 31 points, including 22 in the second half. Cameron Rundles had 24 points and Jamar Diggs added 21. Hoffarber had four points.
