Florida DL Doral Willis Commits to Minnesota

Doral Willis, a 6-foot-1, 315-pound defensive tackle from Pahokee (FL) High, has become the latest Minnesota football commitment, according to the Miami Herald. Willis had offers from Minnesota and Florida International, but was getting interest from Boston College, Oregon and Florida State.

Doral Willis is the fifth Pahokee player to make a verbal commitment, joining wide receiver De'Joshua Johnson (Florida State), defensive back Merrill Noel (Wake Forest), linebacker Zachary Allen (Wake Forest) and safety Raheam Buxton (University of Miami).

"I remember watching Doral play at the end of his freshman season in the spring and the coaches talking about his future," said Charles Fishbein of Elite Scouting Services. "He is one of those athletes who has tremendous feet, exceptional strength and the opportunity to go against some quality football players every day in practice."
