Elliott Eliason To Make Minnesota Visit

Elliott Eliason, a 6-foot-11, 235-pound center from Chadron (NE) High, will visit Minnesota September 11th and will attend the Gopher football TCF Bank Stadium opener versus Air Force. Eliason led Chadron to a second place finish in the state tournament as they fell to defending Class C-1 state champions Hastings (NE) St. Cecilia 61-58, despite finishing with 17 points and nine rebounds.

Elliott Eliason made six of nine shots from the field and five of eight from the line in the title game loss as Chadron finished 26-1. Eliason averaged 14.8 points, 10.4 rebounds and 3.8 blocked shots per game for the Cardinals.

Eliason will visit Stanford September 4th and Minnesota the following weekend. Creighton is the third school in the mix. He is not expected to take an official visit to the Omaha school, but Bluejay head coach Dana Altman has closely watching the talented big man closely for the past few years.

Elaison comes from an athletic family. His parents, Jay and Lorna Eliason, were both outstanding athletes at South Dakota State. His father played football and his mother was a volleyball player.
