Tim Brewster Makes Helicopter Entrance

Minnesota head coach Tim Brewster showed his commitment to recruiting the top in-state football talent as he made appearances at three high school games via helicopter the day before they open up play at the brand new TCF Stadium

Tim Brewster started his night at the Spring Lake Park-Irondale game to watch left tackle Jimmy Gjere lead the Knights to a 49-42 victory.

He flew via helicopter to the Wayzata-Minnetonka game to join Minnesota assistant coaches Kevin Cosgrove, co-defensive coordinator, Tim Cross, associate head coach and defensive line coach and linebacker and special teams coach John Butler to watch defensive prospects Beau Allen of Minntonka and Tobi Okuyemi and Grant Olsen of Wayzata.

Brewster finished the night by hitting the Cretin Derham Hall and White Bear Lake contest to watch #1 prospect Seantrel Henderson pace the Raiders to a 34-7 victory.

Brewster is hoping to cap off the weekend with a victory over Air Force in the brand new TCF Stadium.
