Anthony Osifuye Attends Minnesota Home Opener

Anthony Osifuye, a 5-foot-11, 190-pound running back/linebacker from Woodbury (MN) High, attended the Minnesota home opener versus Air Force. Osifuye filled in last week for injured Minnesota commit Lamonte Edwards and rushed 24 times for 227 yards and four touchdowns in the Royals' 34-26 win over Park of Cottage Grove.

Anthony Osifuye scored on 80, 42, 17 and one-yard touchdown runs in their win over Park. He rushed eleven times for 99 yards with a seven-yard touchdown run in their season-opening 34-7 win over East Ridge.

His teammate Lamone Edwards rushed 30 times in the opener for 212 yards.

Osifuye also competes on in the long jump and triple jump for the Woodbury track and field team.

Osifuye is hearing from Minnesota, Northwestern and several Ivy League schools. He is an excellent student with a 3.98 GPA.
