Preston Brown had received scholarship offers from Minnesota, Akron and Kent State and interest from West Virginia, Iowa, Duke and Michigan.
Brown helped lead Northwest to a 4-6 mark this season. He finished with 143 carries for 975 yards and twelve rushing touchdowns. Brown caught seven passes for 95 yards and two scores. He finished with 31 tackles and twelve assists.
Brown had 13 carries for 249 yards and four touchdowns versus Amelia, 24 rushes for 140 yards against Glen Este, 27 carries for 107 yards versus Little Miami and had eleven rushes for 191 yards and five scores against Finneytown.
