Cory Joseph Has 27 in Front of Tubby Smith

Minnesota Gopher recruit Cory Joseph, younger brother of Devoe, leads Findlay to an 86-75 win over Winter Park in the City of Palms in front of Minnesota head coach Tubby Smith Saturday. Joseph scored 27 points and Rivers, a standout junior who is the son of Boston Celtic head coach Doc Rivers, had 22 points.

Cory Joseph hit his first four three-pointers as the Pilots bounced back from a heart-breaking loss to #4 Columbus Northland in Columbus on a ESPN-televised match, snapping a 45 game-win streak.

Joseph is averaging 20.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 3.7 steals per game this season. He visited Minnesota October 30th, Connecticut October 16th, Texas September 19th, Villanova October 23rd and UNLV last weekend.

Joseph led Findlay to a 33-0 mark as a junior as they defeated #2 Mouth of Wilson (VA) Oak Hill Academy 74-66 in the championship of National High School Invitational. Joseph averaged 10.5 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game, while shooting 50.5% from the field, 55.8% from three-point range and 61.3% from the line. .
