Henry Sibley jumped out to a 16-5 and a Jordan Jackson three-pointer at buzzer put the Warriors up 42-29 at the break. They expanded the lead to 49-33 when Walter Lemon was hit with his third and a subsequent technical. The Jaguars cut the margin to 66-60 with a Timothy Perkins jumper with 6:39 to go. However, Jimmy Ryan countered with a three-pointer to put the lead back up to nine.
Jordan Jackson led all scorers with 25 points. Mike Rostampour took advantage of the tightly-called game by making 17 of 20 free throws as he scored 21 points. Seven-foot center Jake Kreuser added 15 points.
Phillip Greene, a 6-foot-3 junior guard, scored 18 of his 24 points in the second half to pace the Jaguars. Perkins had 18 points and Cedric Smith added twelve off the bench.
