Minnesota Gopher Team Showing Solidarity

The Minnesota Gopher team will show off a new-look tonight against Wisconsin as the players have shaved their heads to show solidarity for Paul Carter, whose sister has been diagnosed with cancer. The Gophers are hoping to hold on to their slim NCAA Tournament chances. Minnesota is just 14-10 overall and 5-7 in the Big Ten and would seemingly need to run the table to make the "Big Dance."

Wisconsin is 19-6 overall and 9-4 in the Big Ten. Minnesota swept the series last season, but the Badgers have won 13 of the last 16 meetings overall and they have won five of its last six at Williams Arena.
