Minnesota Gets Bubbleicious Victory

Minnesota gave their NCAA Tournament chances a jump start with a 72-67 overtime win over Michigan State. The Gophers have now won 20 games this season and will face Purdue in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals.

Devoe Joseph led the Gophers with 17 points, including eight in overtime. He hit two three-pointers in the extra period. The first one tied the score after Raymar Morgan completed a three-point play to open overtime. The second one gave the Gophers a 62-58 lead with 2:26 to go.

Blake Hoffarber had 14 points and Colton Iverson scored in double figures for the second straight game, added twelve points.

Kalin Lucas finished with 18 points for the Spartans.
