MN Pump N Run Wins Minnesota Comets Title

Minnesota Pump N Run defeated the Minnesota Heat 69-50 to win the Minnesota Comets Spring Shootout. The Pump N Run won seven games in just over 24 hours to win the first in-state title of the spring.


Pump N Run won their opening game 76-25 over the Southern Premiere as Roosevelt Scott of St. Paul Johnson had 17 points and Jonah Travis of Minneapolis DeLaSalle added 16 points and nine rebounds. Alex Richter of Lakeville South had eleven points.


Pump N Run beat Fury Gold 66-49 as Travis finished with 20 points and 21 rebounds. He added three blocked shots. Kyle Noreen added nine points, seven rebounds and three steals.


Pump N Run defeated Trojans 85-44 with four double figure scorers. Richter led the way with 15 points. Travis and Norren added 14 points each as Noreen hit four three-pointers. Jason Perkins of Shakopee added 13.


Pump N Run beat the Heat Black 67-48 as Travis had 15 points. Richter scored 14 and Noreen had ten.


Pump N Run defeated the Fury 74-62 in the quarterfinals. Travis had 19 points and Noreen added 16. Richter chipped in with 13 points.


Pump N Run bested the host Comets 83-51 as they had four double figure scorers. Richter had 19 points and Scott added 15. Jordan Jackson of Henry Sibley scored twelve and Travis finished with eleven. Shelby Moats suited up for the Pump N Run, despite a cast on his right hand, due to a thumb injury.

Minnesota Pump N Run won the title game as Richter had 15 points. Travis added 14 and Scott had 13 points.

Minnesota Pump N Run will play in the Double Pump Showcase in Denver next weekend and will host the Pump N Run Spring Showcase at Bloomington Jefferson the following weekend.
