Net Gain Teams Shine in Early Season Play

The Net Gain Sports are clicking on all cylinders in their first trip outside the state. The 16-and-under team knocked off the highly rated Dream Vision team 61-60 to advance to the semifinals of the Double Pump Tourney in Denver and their younger team were undefeated through early Sunday play.

The 16-and-under team led by Hopkins freshman Riley Dearring and Nate Kratch of Watertown-Mayer defeated Dream Vision 61-60. Dream Vision won the Bob Gibbons 15-and-under title and they won the 14-and-under title in Orlando last August. Unfortunately, Net Gain fell to Indiana Elite in the semifinals.

The 13-and-under team (which is based out of Illinois) advanced to the semifinals game in a tournament held in Normal, Illinois and the 10-and-under team won the title game in the Big Shots/Georgia Stars Tournament.
