Zack Lofton Leads Howard Pulley To a 4-1 Mark

The Howard Pulley AAU team finished 4-1 in Los Angeles for the third leg of the EYBL. Pulley finished 4-0 in Houston two weeks ago and are now 12-2 in the EYBL. They were 4-1 at the Boo Williams Invitational, losing one game when leading scorer Joe Coleman was sidelined with a foot injury.

Howard Pulley dropped the opening game to Means Streets 68-64, after leading most of the way. Mean Streets is led by Anthony Davis, who has a Minnesota offer. They were led by Zack Lofton, who had a game-high 20 points. He added five rebounds. Marvin Singleton had 16 points and eight rebounds. Isaiah Zierden scored eleven points and Joe Coleman added eight.

They bounced back to defeat Louisiana Select 76-69. Singleton had 18 points and five caroms. Lofton chipped in with 16 points and five caroms. Siyani Chambers had twelve points and dished eight assists and Zierden scored twelve.

Pulley defeated the Wisconsin Elite 73-65 as Zierdne had 17 points. Lofton and Coleman had 13 points each. Chambers had nine points and seven assists. Singleton and Bretson McNeal added eight points each. Singleton grabbed seven boards in the win.

Pulley cruised to a 97-61 win over Baltimore Elite. Lofton led the way with 19 points. Coleman had 15 and Singleton and Darren Glover had twelve points each. Nick Latzke scored eleven points and McNeal added nine. Eighth grader Tyus Jones scored seven for the Panthers.

They finished play Monday with an 81-64 win over the Georgia Blazers.

Howard Pulley entered the weekend third among the 42 teams with St. Louis Eagles and the N.J. Playaz being the lone undefeated squads.
