Commitments #10 and #11 in for Minnesota

Coach Brewster and staff have been tearing up the recruiting trail over the past week. The Golden Gophers continued their momentum today when Ohio linebacker Marquise Vann and Minnesota wide receiver Devin Crawford-Tufts gave their pledges to the Maroon and Gold.

Marquise Vann, the highly sought after linebacker prospect from Fairfield, Ohio contacted the Golden Gopher coaching staff earlier today to make his pledge for the Maroon and Gold. Vann stands roughly 6 feet and weighs in close to 230 pounds. The rugged linebacker chose Minnesota over offers from Stanford, Michigan State, Ball State, Bowling Green, and Duke. Vann, along with recent commit Quinn Bauducco, form what is already turning out to be a hard-hitting, athletic, and aggressive linebacker class.

The Golden Gophers didn't have to travel far to lock down commitment #11. Being recruited as wide receiver, the Edina high school product Devin Crawford-Tufts gives Minnesota, and quarterback commit Max Shortell, a blazing fast deep threat and all-around tremendous athlete. Crawford-Tufts was also being recruited by Wisconsin.
