Tamani Talks Recruiting

Tami Carter discusses his recruitment with Goldensports.net. Who has been recruiting the Ohio prospect the hardest?

Tamani Carter, a 5-foot-11, 175 pound cornerback out of Pickering High School Central in Pickering, Ohio is waiting until the time is right to make a decision on his commitment.

Right now he is focusing on a season that just got underway with a 38-0 victory over Plainfield (Plainfield, IN), and will face Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA) at Ohio State University on September 6.

"We got a game coming up on Labor Day against Oscar Smith at Ohio State, so that should be a big game. We're looking real good this season," Carter said about the young season. There will be official visits, though he is not sure when and where just yet.

Carter did visit Iowa recently and says that the Hawkeyes have been putting in a push on the Ohio cornerback.

"I would say Iowa is contacting me the most," He said. However, he is not ready to name a leader just yet, "I'm just keeping it open right now," Carter said.

When asked about his time frame for making a decision Carter said that there is no rush.

"Whenever the time is right," he said. "Whenever it feels best, that is when I am going to make my decision."
