How Minnesota Wins: The key for Minnesota on defense will be the play of the defensive line and their ability to get pressure on Logan Kilgore. If Kilgore has time, he could use his accuracy to spread the ball around to his big wideouts. With Kilgore starting his first game The line must get pressure to help out the inexperienced safeties of James Manuel and Christyn Lewis. On offense Minnesota obviously needs to run the ball well on first down but the key for Minnesota will be Adam Weber's ability to make throws on third down to extend drives. Weber must make good choices and not turn the ball over.
