MSU Commitment Scoreboard Update Week 4

The MSU commitment scoreboard update is a free weekly feature that allows you, the reader, the chance to keep up with how the Bulldogs-to-be are doing in their final seasons before reporting to Starkville to begin their college careers.

Dak Prescott and Haugton advanced to 2-0 with a 47-12 win over rival Minden Friday night. Dak threw for three touchdowns and ran for another as the Buccaneers scored at will.

Josh Robinson ran for 148 yards and two touchdowns on just eight carries as Franklinton destroyed Covington 58-21. FHS is now 1-1 on the season and still considered to be a top contender to get back to the Superdome in December.

Devonte Scott saw Ferriday fall to 0-2 following a 20-12 loss to Block High School.

Jermaine Whitehead and Amanda-Elzy won their second in a row after getting by Lewisberg 18-14 with a late score. was in attendance and we will have video highlights of Jermaine in action later this week.

Nick Redmond and Harrison Central (1-2) picked up their first win over the year with a 35-19 win over Springfield, Louisiana.

C.J. Johnson and Philadelphia rolled to 4-0 with a 35-10 win over West Lowndes. C.J. scored on an 11-yard touchdown run and converted a two point conversion.

Darion Arrington scored on a one yard plunge as Stone won their second in a row. This week the Tomcats knocked off West Harrison 22-6.

Devin Fosselman and James Maiden advanced to 2-1 after Wilkinson County blew out Prentiss 34-7.

Rufus Warren and Gentry evened their record at 2-2 after a 28-0 blanking of Humphreys County.

Zach Jackson and Heidelberg got their first win of the year this week with a 34-0 win over winless Bay Springs.

Daniel Knox and West Lauderdale are ready for the new season to begin when district play starts. The Knights fell to SE Lauderdale 13-3 which brings their record to 0-4 on the 2010 campaign.

Justin Cox ran for a score and threw for another as West Point ran out to a 20-0 lead over Starkville. A late drive produced no points as Starkville roared back to edge out West Point (2-1) 21-20.

Joe Morrow and Ocean Springs enjoyed a bye week this week. The Greyhounds will take on D'iberville this week.

All-American Darius Slay and ICC fell to 0-2 this past week as the Wildcats of PRC recorded a 34-14 win.
