MSU Commitment Scoreboard Update Week 7

The MSU commitment scoreboard update is a few weekly feature during football season that provides readers the chance to see how the Bulldgs to be are doing in their final seasons before moving on to Starkville.

Darius Slay and ICC got a much needed win on Thursday as the Indians snuck by Mississippi Delta 21-20. ICC is now 2-3 on the 2010 campaign.

Dak Prescott ran his Buccaneer's mark to 5-0 after 55-20 win over Northwood. The Haughton offense has become one of the best in the state of Louisiana and they are a legitimate state title contender.

MSU's newest commitment Preston Smith and his Stephenson team won 21-0 over Luella. The Jaguars are 5-0 on the season and unscored upon in district play.

Devante Scott and his Trojans of Ferriday (2-3)had to go to overtime, but they got the win over Peabody. Scott scored four touchdowns and two two point coversions including the game winner in a 37-35 contest.

Josh Robinson rushed for 114 yards and one touchdown on just four carries as Franklinton blew out Belle Chasse 55-13.

Jermaine Whithead and Amanda Elzy had a nice homecoming with a 26-6 win over Yazoo County. The win runs the Panthers record to 4-2 on the year.

Justin Cox and West Point (5-1) kept on winning and they extended their winning streak over region rival New Hope in the process.

Bernardrick McKinney and his Rosa Fort squad got back on track with a 39-22 win over Byhalia. The Lions are now 6-1 on the season and a game back of Center Hill in Region 4A-2.

Darion Arrington did it all for Stone High School (3-3) on Friday. In the 13-7 win over Pearl River Central, Dee had a 22 yard touchdown catch and returned an interception 98 yards for a touchdown.

C.J. Johnson and Philadelphia continue to beat people up. Philly wins 37-7 over Clarkdale to advance their record to 7-0 and will host MSU commitment Zachary Jackson and Philadephia next week.

Zach and the Oilers of Heidelberg fell to 1-6 on Friday with a 32-14 defeat at the hands of Choctaw Central.

Daniel Knox and West Lauderdale continue to have a season to forget. The Knights fall to 0-7 after their 26-7 loss to Laurel.

Nick Redmond and Harrison Central got blasted by Gulfport 50-7. The Rebs fall to 1-5 on the year.

Joe Morrow and Ocean Springs dropped to 4-2 after losing to Petal and Anthony Alford 28-7.

Devin Fosselman and James Maiden saw their four game winning streak come to an end as Franklinton County won 42-20. Wilkinson County is now 4-2 on the season.

R.J. Warren and Gentry (2-4) had a tough time with Lake Cormorant and Mike Williams. The Gators won big 47-12.
