MSU Commitment Scoreboard Update Week 10

The MSU commitment scoreboard update is a free weekly feature during football season that allows readers to keep up with how the Bulldogs-to-be are doing in their final seasons before arriving in Starkville. It was a tough week for many of the maroon and white pledges and four commitments squared off against each other.

Dak Prescott left the game one series into the second half after accounting for five touchdowns on 11 of 13 passing. Prescott threw three touchdown passes and ran for two other scores as Haughton knocked of Huntington 84-42.

The Buccaneers are now 7-0 and first place in their district.

Preston Smith and Stephenson also advanced their record to 7-0 on the year following a 52-13 win over Hughes High School.

The Jaguars have given up just eight touchdowns all season.

Devonte Scott ran wild in a 32-0 win over Jonesboro-Hodge. Scott totaled 133 yards and two scores on just twelve carries. He also scooped up a fumble and returned it for a touchdown on defense.

Josh Robinson and Franklinton were held under 60 points this week, but in the end the blowout still happened.

The Demons are now 6-1 on the season. Entering the game, Robinson had a team best 482 yards and nine touchdowns.

Daniel Knox and West Lauderdale remain winless after falling to Quitman 42-14. The Knights are 0-9 with just two games remaining.

Jermaine Whitehead was held out of the end zone as Cleveland won 32-0 over Amanda Elzy in the much anticipated contest.

The Panthers are 5-3 with just one district game remaining. With a 3-2 record in the league, the game is extremely important.

Nick Redmond and Harrison Central (1-7) made a game of it, but in the end Joe Morrow and Ocean Springs (6-2) won 20-13.

Philadelphia and C.J. Johnson ran their record to 9-0 after shutting out district foe Heidelberg, 43-0.

MSU commitment Zachary Jackson did not play in the game.

Rufus Warren and Gentry fell to 3-5 on the year after a hard fought loss to Clarksdale 19-12.

The Rams are 1-3 in district and will likely need to win out in order to make the playoffs.

Joe Price ran for scores of 11 and 53 yards as Madison Central trounced Vicksburg 70-12.

Joe leads the 8-0 Jags with nine rushing touchdowns and yards with 694 on the season.

Bernardrick McKinney and Rosa Fort (7-2) fell to Senatobia 29-16. McKinney was 8 of 16 passing for 214 yards and a 25 yard touchdown pass.

For the second straight week West Point turned back a two point conversion in the final minutes to secure a win.

This week Justin Cox and the Green Wave got by Lake Cormorant 28-27. West Point is 7-1 on the season and will host Saltillo next week.

Devin Fosselman hauled in nine passes for 103 yards and a score, but Wilkinson County came up short of knocking off Hazlehurst, 30-28.

James Maiden had another solid ball game and is continuing to make strides on both sides of the ball.

The Wildcats currently sit fourth in the region and in the final playoff spot, but will need a win over Amite this weekend to keep that position.

Darion Arrington and Stone gave West Jones all they wanted on Thursday night. The Tomcats fell 21-13, but had their chances.

Darius Slay and Itawamba ruined Holmes' homecoming 33-20. ICC is now 4-3 on the season and still in the hunt for a playoff spot.
