Men's Golf
BUENES AIRES, Argentina - Bulldog Robi Calvesbert of the Mississippi State men's golf team has completed his second round of play at the World Amateur Team Championship in Buenes Aires, Argentina.

Calvesbert is representing his native Puerto Rico at the championship event. In the opening round Calvesbert fired a 1-over-par 73 and today posted a second-round score of 82. Calvesbert is currently tied for 140th out of the 205-player field and his team Puerto Rico is in a tie for 35th among the 69-team field.

Calvesbert will continue action at the World Amateur Team Championship with a third round being played Sunday and results will be made available at www.mstateathletics.com.


Men's Tennis
NICEVILLE, Fla. - George Coupland and Malte Stropp of the Mississippi State men's tennis team each picked up victories for the Maroon and White on Saturday in the Niceville Futures tournament.

Coupland won his second match in as many days with a straight-set victory, 6-1, 6-0. Stropp also earned a straight-set victory, 6-0, 6-1.

Bulldogs Louis Cant, Max Gregor Smith, Artem Ilyushin and Stropp will all be active on Sunday. Results will be made available at www.mstateathletics.com.
