MSU Saturday Baseball Scrimmage Stats/Info

Mississippi State baseball had a six-inning scrimmage Saturday afternoon. Included are partial stats and notes. The next scrimmage is Sunday, gametime to be announced.

  • Ryan Collins had a single.
  • Jaron Shepherd had a single and a home run.
  • Jonathan Ogden had a single.
  • Trey Johnson had a single and a double.
  • Wes Rea had a single.
  • Wes Thigpen had a single and a double.
  • Sam Frost had a single.
  • Brett Bozeman had a single.
  • C.T. Bradford had a single.
  • Jarrod Parks had a double.
  • Pitching highlights:

  • Chad Girodo threw 3 innings, allowing 2 runs (both earned) on 5 hits and 1 walk while striking out none.
  • Kendall Graveman threw 3 innings, allowing 1 (earned) run on 4 hits and no walks. He struck out 1.
  • Daryl Norris threw 2 innings, allowing 1 (earned) run on 2 hits. He didn't walk anyone and struck out 2.
  • C.T. Bradford threw 1 inning, allowing no runs, hits or walks. He didn't strike anyone out.
  • Trey Johnson threw 2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 2 hits while walking no one and striking out 1.
  • Hunter Renfroe threw 1 inning, allowing no runs, hits or walks while striking out 1.
