And as you would expect, when I asked Hensley his strengths as a baseball player, one of them was his power.
"I'm pretty good at hitting to the oppositive field and I have some power," said the 6-2, 210-pounder who bats and throws from the right side.
While he's obviously a good hitter, there are some other things he is working hard to improve.
"I still need to do a little work on throwing from third to first," said Hensley, who plays third base for his summer team, the Dulins Dodgers. "I could use work on the forty and sixty times."
While it is very early in the recruiting process for the talented youngster, he has his eye on several colleges in the two-state area of Tennseess and Mississippi.
"I would be interested in Ole Miss, Mississippi State, MTSU, Memphis," said Chase Hensley, an all-around athlete who also plays football and basketball for his high school.
