STARKVILLE, Miss. - Tickets allotted as part of contractual agreements for fans of opposing teams have been returned by Southeastern Conference opponents South Carolina and Ole Miss, the Mississippi State athletic ticket office announced today. South Carolina returned approximately 2,500 tickets and 2,000 were sent back from Ole Miss.
Individual game tickets are now on sale to the general public through the ticket office, and less than 200 single-game tickets still remain for the Louisiana Tech (Sept. 24) and UT-Martin (Nov. 5) contests. Just over 1,300 tickets to the LSU game remain after the Tigers returned 2,000 tickets last week.
As of Tuesday afternoon, only 137 mini-pack tickets remained. The mini-pack offer includes the Louisiana Tech game, the UT-Martin homecoming contest and the South Carolina game at a discounted overall price of $75.
Road game tickets remain available through the Mississippi State ticket office for Auburn, UAB, Kentucky and Arkansas. For tickets to the season opener at Memphis, fans are encouraged to call the UM ticket office at 901-678-2331.
