Describe yourself as a player? What will people see when they watch you play this season?
"You are going to see a mean, violent, pass-rushing machine."
When did you really start getting recruited in junior college?
"I was heavily recruited in the spring. My first offer was from Arkansas."
And from there you received offers from the rest of the SEC and many other major colleges. What do you think caused you to be so heavily recruited after just one season of junior college football?
"I just played like an animal."
How did you go about whittling your list down from such a large number of offers?
"I wanted to be in one of the best conferences, the SEC, so I whittled it down to some of the powerhouses."
But you had an offer from every SEC school. So, how did you cut it down from 12 to the number you now have?
"Just from the recruitment process. And it was mostly the schools that I had on my mind before. It was those schools."
Who did you have on your mind before?
"Bama and Mississippi State, schools like that."
You have cut your list down. Who are the schools that you have cut it down too?
"Tennessee, Bama and Mississippi State."
Individually, what do you like about each one of them. Start with Bama
"Bama, I just like their program and the way they do things over there. Their workout program, their trainers. I like the surroundings and the nice facilities. I feel wanted over there."
How many times have you been to Alabama?
Did you get to talk to their coaches? If so, what are your thoughts about them?
"Yes sir. They were great. I like Coach Nick Saban. He's a cool guy."
Have you been to Mississippi State?
What are your thoughts about Mississippi State?
"I like the way their depth chart is looking at defensive end. They also have like the number 1 training coach, Matt Balis. I like that."
What are your thoughts about their defensive line coach, the coach you would be coached by?
"Coach Wilson, he's pretty cool."
Tennessee is new to your final list. How did they get into your recruiting picture?
"They just surprised me. I just felt wanted by them."
Did you visit them?
"Yes sir, I visited them. And I enjoyed it."
