Gus lined up out wide and in turn was the team's leading receiver with 37 catches for 651 yards and eight touchdowns.
Walley will spend one more season lined up outside the numbers before he slides in to play tight end. The spread offense will utilize his experience as a wide out and help create mismatches with linebackers as he flexes out in the slot.
The Leakesville, Mississippi prospect had two very strong camp showings this summer at Mississippi State which earned him an offer.
Walley has very good hands and runs well after the catch. He has good, but not great speed and he has the frame to carry more mass without effecting his quickness of foot speed.
With another year of experience under his belt, Gus is expecting to have a very strong senior campaign that he hopes will extend beyond the opening round of the state playoffs.
