MSU Commitment Scoreboard Update Week 6

The MSU commitment scoreboard update is a free weekly feature during football season that allows readers to keep up with how the future Bulldogs are doing in their final seasons before joining the team in Starkville.

Quadry Antoine and Belle Chasse rolled on to one of the only 4-0 starts in school history after shelling East Jefferson 41-14.

Quadry had several big hits and a pair of touchdown runs to lead the Cardinals.

Torrey Bell and John Curtis hung on to their #1 ranking and undefeated record by blasting Cohen 45-0.

Ryan Brown and Shaw survived a tough contest with Holy Cross 31-28.

Shaw (2-1) will take on St. Augustine this week.

Kivon Coman and Florence High (3-2) got back to their winning ways this week by knocking off Muscle Shoals 27-22.

Nelson Adams and Brandon (3-2) also got back on track by knocking off Terry 39-14.

Cole Carter and Caledonia fell to .500 (3-3) after being blanked by Ackerman 14-0. The Confederates will kickoff district play this week at Leake Central.

Devon Desper and Madison Central (3-2) got the better of Cedric Jiles and Clinton (2-3) in the annual grudge match 35-26.

The Jaguars have won three in a row and will look to keep things going this week at Murrah.

Nick James and Long Beach bounced back from a loss last week and handled Gautier 31-17.

Frederick Brown and Jim Hill demolished Vicksburg 46-6. The Tigers improve to 2-3 on the season and Fred will match-up one-on-one with Cedric Jiles this week in an important district game for both teams.

Deonte Evans scored on a 33 yard touchdown run that helped McComb (3-1) get by Stone 13-10.

Evans has a team best 352 yards rushing and four touchdowns.

Adairius Barnes and Port Gibson suffered their first loss this past week as they wound up on the down side of a 20-9 decision with Mendenhall.

The Blue Waves (5-1) will take on Raymond this week.

Lelland Ducksworth and North Forrest (4-2) won their second straight game by blowing by Bay Springs 26-12.

Will Redmond and East (5-1) got steamrolled by Memphis University School 41-0.

Devon Bell is now averaging over 47 yards per punt, but his Vikings are still searching for their first win of the season.

Warren Central (5-0) fell to NW Rankin 35-7 on Friday.

Brandon Holloway, Gus Walley and Xavier Grindle all enjoyed a bye week this past week.

Grindle currently has 689 yards rushing despite sitting in the second half of most games.

He has found the endzone 11 times so far this season.
