  • How exciting was it to sign with Mississippi State this morning?
"It was exciting. I called my mom and dad and told them. They were excited. Just to get the opportunity is great. Any kid wants to play at a higher level and in a bigger conference. It is a big accomplishment for me and my family for me to play at Mississippi State."

What was it about the visit that caused you to know that Mississippi State is the right place for you?
"A thing that is big for me is the coaching staff. They seem like they are good people and coaches. They have their best interest in all of their players and they are real big on individual development. That is important to me because I want to improve my game each and every day. And the academic lady was really great. She is going to take a lot of stress off of me off the court. Because of that, I will be able to do great on and off the court."

What are your thoughts about the Mississippi State facilities?
"The practice facility was really nice. And it's for both the boys and girls. The weight training facility was in it. The dorms were really nice, too. I went in there with Kristers (Zeidaks), the player from overseas. I also saw Wendell's (Lewis) and Jalen's (Steele) (dorm rooms). I was with Wendell and Jalen most of the time on my visit. They were my hosts. They were real good guys. Everything was really nice. It was a good setup for me."

Did the quality of the facilities surprise you?
"It actually did. You never think that there would be so much to the facilities. The practice facility was really big. That was a big thing to me. Even the facility for the regular students, the Rec Center, was really nice."
