Top 2013 Prospect: Demarcus Walker. At 6-foot-4 and 275 pounds, Walker is a beast of a defensive line prospect. Scout watched him live last season and talked about him being a major prospect to watch down the road. Well, he's now among the nation's premier prospects at his position. He has the size to play inside or outside and in different schemes. He has top notch quickness and athleticism for his size. He really flashed the ability to dominate at this event. Alabama and Florida are among the top schools on his list.
Sleeper: Mike Love. At 6-foot-4 and around 200 pounds, Love is a very skilled pass rusher from Countryside High in Clearwater. He's long and lean and has the frame to add some good weight. He's very quick off the edge and showed some excellent pass rushing skills at this event. He has some BCS offers from schools like N.C. State, Iowa State, and Mississippi State and he should expect to see many more come his way this spring.
Top Notable: Jordan Sherit. At 6-foot-3 and 2440 pounds, Sherit is a very talented defensive end from Hillsborough High in Tampa. He was very impressive during drills and has a lot of leadership qualities you look for. He's a high motor guy with a tremendous work ethic. He's the type of kid everyone wants on their team, a kid who can make everyone around him better. He got dinged up early on in 1on1 drills but you can still see why Florida and over 20 others have already offered him.
